Video Filmed

Using the latest technology, well a load of super 8 projectors culled from Brighton’s Sunday market, we managed to film the footage for the video to Watch Her Walk Away. Editing will begin as soon we find a steam powered editing suite that lets us smoke turkish cigarillos in it…..until then here are a couple of images from the shoot. PS, thanks again to the wonderful Ian Helliwell for all his help

Radio Times

Those nice gentlemen who live inside the box in the corner of the kitchen have already been playing our new single “Watch Her Walk Away” – Gideon Coe, Gary Crowley and “uncle” Bob Harris we salute you! It’s out on the 25th of May so form an orderly queue outside Woolworths please.

We also now have 2 BBC sessions coming up – with Tom Robinson on Radio 6 on 22nd May and Mark Lamarr on Radio 2 on 29th May.

Advert for New Album

We’ve just taken delivery from Saatchi and Saatchi of the finished advert for the new album (that’s “Companions of the Rosy Hours”, available right here on this site in case you hadn’t noticed). Prepare to be brainwashed…

Ready for our close ups.

Yes the Dials are shooting their first music video. Starting on April 22nd and collaborating with experimental film maker and all round psychedelic boffin Ian Helliwell, the band are hoping for something like The Trip if it had been directed by Stan Brakhage. The film, for the new single Watch Her Walk Away, will be available to view on youtube and all the usual sites, including this one, in mid May. So put on your 3D glasses, grab your popcorn, you know where to put the cork!
