We had read up on Brighton Council facts and foibles, and we had even gotten to grips with party politics (well kind of) but all John Pienaar wanted to talk about when he interviewed us was the band…which I suppose can’t be a bad thing. Unfortunately, despite our invitation, John won’t be joining us on stage at any point soon, but who knows…we reckon – as the show’s producer says he’s got a belter of a voice – he may a backing vocal slot on our next album. Stranger things have happened (and have happened lots to us recently).

 We would like to apologise to anyone who had come out to see us at Walthamstow Festival and to Ramblin’ Steve who had asked us to play. Our hired minibus broke down on route (on the M25) and we were left stranded with no help coming form the hire company (their emergency number was dead!)

When a breakdown truck finally appeared (from the AA) they pronouned the vehicle ’dead’ and only had space to to fit 2 of us with no gear (despite them agreeing to send something big enough).

Unfortunely, despite everyone’s (including Steve’s) best efforts, we couldn’t make it on time. Needless to say we were gutted as it’s one we really wanted to play…..hope all went well, and big up to Steve and Ali for putting the whole thing together.
